Guidelines for Poster Presentations

All posters will be available for viewing throughout the duration of the Conference, with an interactive poster session scheduled for 16 May 2019 (p.m.).

Your poster should meet the following criteria and requirements:

Size

The poster, in portrait style, must be at least in A1 size (594mm x 841mm) and not larger than the maximum size of 900mm x 1300mm.

 

Lettering

The poster should be easily readable at a distance of two metres. 24 to 32 font size single spaced is recommended.

Title and Author Name

The title should be the same as the one you submitted, with it be placed at the top of the poster. Characters should be at least 48 point font size. Your name, University, department, should be set out in the poster.

Headings

48 to 60 point font size is recommended for headings.

Content

The main body should be concise and understandable, usually without detailed oral explanation.

The poster should also contain an “Introduction” and a “Conclusion” sections.

Results should be presented graphically if possible.

Graphs and photographs should not be smaller than 12cm x 18cm.
